Orange Cream Soda (Clean & THM-friendly)

I’ve been really trying to make an effort to stay more hydrated this summer. I mean, really trying. Between breastfeeding a million hours a day and my workouts at the Y, I constantly end the day with a dry mouth and thinking, tomorrow I need to drink more.

Thing is, I like variety. There’s nothing appealing about drinking five bottles a water a day. So I made it a goal to try a new “sipper” every day.
The Trim Healthy Mama cookbook has a good selection of INCREDIBLE, nourishing drinks that’ll help beat cravings and overeating. Their cookbook is a great way of becoming familiar with the lesser known but super healthy ingredients. (Integral collagen, anyone?)

This recipe is inspired by Serene and Pearl’s Root Beer Float recipe.
Here’s what you’ll need:

-12 oz. seltzer water.
-1 tbsp. vanilla protein powder. (We use Pristine Whey Protein Powder)
-Stevia to taste. (I use 6 packets, but I have a huge sweet tooth.)
-1 tsp. orange extract.

1. Blend well and pour over ice.
